ARTS AND EDUCATION EVENTS

Painting Parties

  • Choose your image! Send me a photograph or describe what you want and I can help you paint it.

  • Ideal for groups of 5 - 25 people.

  • Team mural paintings where each person paints a canvas and together they form a large wall-sized image.

  • Choose an animal or a nature scene close to your heart and with my guidance create your own masterpiece.

Paint for the Climate offers customized "Paint and Sip" style events with a focus on sustainability and concern for the natural world. Our events start and end with reminders and lessons on the best practices for working with paints, and we take steps to minimize the waste and resource use of our events.

Host a night with family and friends, create and learn about art and habitats!

Basket Weaving

  • Craft Workshop (2 hours) – Perfect for lunch sessions or team meetings.

  • Team Cultivation (4-hour immersion) – Designed for deeper team building and stress reduction.

  • Seasonal Harvest and Land Tending – Ongoing creativity practice with nature.

What more perfectly holds a sense of place and connectedness than a basket? Weaving with natural materials creates beauty from the plants of our world. Materials I weave with include pine needles, as well as fibers from other wild and cultivated plants including artichoke, blackberry, c, dogbane, e, f, g, h, ivy,

I began my visual arts training with botanical illustration, as a way to get to know plants better and learn their identifying characteristics.
I studied color as a way to understand how our visual brains process the world around us.
I continue to paint to evoke the feeling of a landscape and make something tangible that captures a feeling of a place for a moment of time.
